Vullo’s work highlights the dualism between subject and form, symbolizing challenges and doubts in the artistic process. Using materials like travertine, onyx, and lava stones, Vullo contrasts their timeless nature with plastic tape and steel wires, reflecting human fragility and strength. His sculptures, often made from industrial waste, evoke Sicily’s architectural, social, and cultural past. Through the transformation of materials, Vullo's works merge beauty, silence, and meaning, combining classical influences with contemporary vision to reflect the connection between history and the present.
