Anglo-Argentine artist Leo Orta (b. 1993, Paris) lives and works in France, between Paris and Les Moulins (Boissy-Le-Châtel). 
He is a 2019 graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven (NL). 
Leo Orta weaves links between the visual boundaries of art and design. Through a variety of media, his work questions the existential nature of human beings and examines the social and emotional bonds they create within their communities and environments. 
Leo establishes correspondences between the subconscious and the imaginary for an emotional quest through his works. 
In his intuitive relationship with forms, he explores the changing states that living beings continually face through industry, a changing climate or our systems of rationalization. 
Materials play a major role in his thinking, and each gesture supports the functions and characteristics that these materials can provide. Recycling, life-cycle and bio-design research are the production methods employed in the thinking behind the works.
