SARP Gallery is pleased to present Silvia Giordani (Vicenza, 1992), Invisible Landscapes, a new exhibition showcasing the outcome of the artist's research developed during her residency at SARP Artist Residency and Studios in Linguaglossa. The paintings on view emerge from the encounter between memory and the direct experience of the Sicilian landscape, giving shape to a territory in constant, subtle transformation, where the forms, atmospheres, and memory of Mount Etna resonate throughout. For Silvia Giordani, painting is not about representing what is visible, but about giving form to the invisible: the landscape becomes the medium through which the hidden energies inhabiting a place come to light. The exhibition unfolds as a journey through the invisible forces that shape the landscape: light carried by the air, the wind that slowly sculpts the rock, and the horizon as a threshold between what appears and what eludes the eye. Each painting opens a space for contemplation, where perception slows down and the familiar elements of nature recover their sense of wonder.
